In March I was delighted to attend the ceremony for the Trinity Schools Book Awards, hosted at Emanuel School in Battersea, London. Students across the Trinity Schools had produced incredible creative responses to all the shortlisted books. I was blown away by the talent and hard work on display! Below you can see a wonderful board game created by Harry, Teddy and Kaiden, which won a Pupil Response award, and which they very kindly allowed me to take home, so I can play it with my family. So much thought has gone into it!

And here is a very creepy video by Theo. Sequest is watching you...

I had a wonderful evening meeting the other shortlisted authors, and especially the legend who is Tony Jones, head librarian, expert on all things horror, and all-round inspiration. Tony is the author of The YA Horror 400, which you can purchase here:

And I was most honoured to learn that Bite Risk had won the 2025 TSBA! Malcolm Duffy was the winner of the TSBA+ with Seven Million Sunflowers.
